End of 1st Part - Final de la 1ª Parte

Hola, con esta entrada pongo punto y final a la etapa que ha supuesto la mayoría de mi trabajo, después de 9 meses, he terminado el año escolar, con una gran satisfacción, en el instituto dónde he desarrollado todo mi trabajo, los últimos 4 meses en una escuela primaria y el mes de junio en una escuela rural.

Ha sido un trabajo muy enriquecedor que me ha llenado como persona y también he perfeccionado mis técnicas de enseñanza y mis habilidades para trabajar con jóvenes y en otro idioma.

Gracias a todos por todo este tiempo que he disfrutado aquí, el último día en el instituto hicimos una excursión a la cascada y a la montaña, una jornada agotadora pero valió la pena las vistas y el paisaje.

También despedirme de mis alumnos de español e inglés que casi durante 30 horas, hemos compartido enseñanzas y risas; y a los niños del centro social, dónde no hemos parado de hacer manualidades durante todo este año (en otra entrada pondré el resto de talleres que hemos hecho durante este año).

Y por último, otro cambio más, me despido de la que ha sido mi casita durante 9 meses, me mudo para los últimos meses, esperando que lleguen los nuevos voluntarios.

Como he dicho, esto no se acaba, el verano va a estar lleno de actividades, campamentos y viajes, ya os iré contando.

Mientras tanto, aprovechar el verano, que llega caluroso, nosotros lo vamos a empezar con un viaje por los Balcanes ;) Hasta la próxima.

P.D. La última semana estuvimos en un festival de fuego y batukada, muy divertido en Banska Stiavnica, aquí os dejo alguna foto.

Hello, this post put an end to the stage that has meant most of my work, after 9 months, I have finished the school year with great satisfaction at the high-school where I developed all my work, the last 4 months in a primary school and June in a rural school.

It has been a very rewarding job that has filled me as a person and I have also improved my teaching skills and my ability to work with young people and in another language.

Thank you for all this time I've enjoyed here, the last day at school we hiked to the waterfall and mountain views, a tiring day but it was worth the views and landscape.

Also say goodbye to my students in Spanish and English for nearly 30 hours, we shared lessons and laughter; and children's social center, where we have not stopped making crafts throughout this year (in another post I will put the other workshops we've done this year).

And finally, another change, I say goodbye to what has been my house for 9 months, I move for the last few months, waiting to reach new volunteers.

As I said, it does not stop, the summer will be full of activities, camps and trips, and I'll tell you.

Meanwhile, take the summer, arriving hot, we'll start with a tour of the Balkans ;) Until next.

Kaan's Birthday - Cumpleaños en Partizanske

Ya estoy aquí, viendo como llega el verano, cada día con más calor y preparando muchas actividades y viajes para el verano.

Primero, nuestro proyecto de intercambio juvenil no ha sido aprobado, una pena, pero se aplicará para la próxima convocatoria, pero por otro lado, vendrán 3 nuevos voluntarios, que los conoceré antes de que termine mi proyecto.

Julio también está lleno de cosas, planeando con unos amigos un viaje por Croacia y Bosnia, campamentos de verano, Festival de Folclore, ya os iré contando.

Mientras, os voy a contar sobre este pasado fin de semana, Kaan, mi amigo turco celebraba su cumpleaños, fuimos Nuria, Maikel, Janci a Partizanske (su ciudad eslovaca) para celebrarlo.

Fue un día fenomenal de piscina, una de las mejores que he visto al ser pública, muy barata y con gran calidad, pasamos un buen día de sol y remojo. Por la noche preparamos una buena cena y después de un día agotador, llegó el domingo, un buen desayuno, un paseo por la ciudad y de vuelta a nuestras ciudades.

Esto es solo el principio de un buen verano, espero.

I'm here, seeing as the summer comes, every day with more heat and preparing many activities and trips for the summer.

First, our Youth Exchange project has not been approved, a shame, but we will apply for the next call, but on the other hand, will come 3 new volunteers, who I will know before the end of my project.

July is also full of things with friends, planning a trip to Croatia and Bosnia, summer camps, Folklore Festival, and I'll tell you.

Meanwhile, I will tell you this last weekend, Kaan, my Turkish friend was celebrating his birthday, Noelia, Maikel, Janci went to Partizanske (the Slovak city) to celebrate.

It was a great day of swimming, one of the best pool I've seen to be public, very cheap and high quality, we had a good day of sun and soaking. At night we prepare a nice dinner and after a long day Sunday came, a good breakfast, a walk through the city and back to our cities.

This is only the beginning of a great summer, I hope.

Del 21 al 25 de Mayo regresé por unas mini-vacaciones a mi pueblo y a Málaga, lo necesitaba después de tanto tiempo y sobre todo por esa semana de frío y lluvia sin parar. Fui el martes para Bratislava dónde pasé la noche con unos amigos y el miércoles al aeropuerto camino de España.

El día fue ajetreado encontrando con amigos de la universidad y de tapas por la noche y el jueves temprano fui a mi pueblo donde estuve con la familia y con amigos y con la gente de la asociación.

El viernes, la familia fuimos de boda, fue un día espectacular, más reencuentros, sorpresas, disfrutar del sol y el calor de la ciudad y la gente. El banquete con buena comida, bebida, en el Pimpi, una maravilla, una exquisitez para el paladar. Una jornada increible dónde también asistimos al bautizo de mi pequeña primita, que nació en diciembre y la conocí.

More Tapas

Después de un día agotador, el sábado fuimos a El Palo (la playa) con mi hermano, mi primo y una amiga a comer sardinas y tinto de verano. Una tarde fenomenal disfrutando del sol, de la playa, buena comida y una buena terraza, cosas que se echan de menos por Eslovaquia.

Por la noche con mi padre fuimos a comer todo tipo de pescado y marisco, una delicia y mientras el Real Madrid se proclamaba campeón de la Champions League después de un apoteósico final.

Nos juntamos varios amigos a pasar la noche de fiesta en el centro para salir de madrugada mi avión de vuelta a Eslovaquia, unos días cortos pero intensos que me han hecho recargar pilas pero aquí sigue el clima nublado y más frío y esperando que llegue el verano.

From 21st to 25th May I back for a mini-vacation to Málaga, what I needed after so long and especially this week of cold and non-stop raining. Tuesday I went to Bratislava where I spent the night with friends and on Wednesday to the airport, road to Spain.

The day was busy, meeting with college friends and going to tapas at night, early Thursday I went to my village where I was with family and friends and people from the association.

On Friday, the family went wedding, was a spectacular day, more reunion, surprises, enjoy the sun and heat of the city and people. The Banquet with good food, drink, in Pimpi, wonderful, a treat for the taste. An incredible journey where also attended the bautispm of my little cousin, who she was born in December.

After a tiring day, Saturday we went to El Palo (the beach) with my brother, my cousin and a friend to eat sardines and tinto verano. A great afternoon enjoying the sun, beach, good food and a good terrace, things that I am missing in Slovakia.

At night my father and us we went to eat all kinds of fish and seafood, delightful and while Real Madrid won Champions League after a final apotheosis.

We met several friends to spend the night out in the center and early morning was my flight back to Slovakia, a short but intense days that have made me recharge, but here is cloudy and colder weather and waiting for the summer.
